Brandon Erickson Champions Employee-Led Growth and Shared Success

Wisconsin, USA, 28th August 2025, ZEX PR WIRE, Brandon Erickson, CEO of North Valley Precision (NVP), is raising awareness about the importance of creating workplaces where employees are given ownership, recognition, and real opportunities to grow.

In a recent feature interview, Erickson shared how his company has grown by listening to employee ideas and promoting leaders from within. “I know what it feels like to start from scratch,” he explained. “That’s why I want people here to see a path forward. If they show initiative, we’ll give them the chance to lead.”

Why Employee-Driven Growth Matters

Research shows that employees who feel their voices matter are 4.6 times more likely to feel empowered to perform at their best (Gallup, 2023). Yet, a Deloitte study found that only 28% of employees believe their companies consistently promote from within. Erickson believes this gap needs to close.

At NVP, new business divisions have been launched directly from employee ideas—most notably a metal finishing division in January 2025, which Erickson credits to team input. “The creation of our metal finishing division came straight from employee input,” Erickson said. “Our people saw a need, they spoke up, and we listened. That division is now a cornerstone of our future.”

NVP also runs a profit-sharing program, designed so that every employee benefits when the company succeeds. “When the company grows, everyone benefits,” Erickson noted. “It’s about showing people that their ideas, effort, and persistence directly impact the bigger picture.”

Leadership Lessons on and off the Job

Erickson often draws parallels between his role as a leader and his role as a father. He spends weekends coaching sports and teaching lessons to his sons on the golf course. “On the course, you learn patience, humility, and how to recover from setbacks,” he said. “Those lessons stick with my boys in ways a lecture never could.”

Walking beside his oldest son during golf tournaments, Erickson reflects on what leadership really means. “It’s about showing him that I’m there, no matter the outcome. Win or lose, he knows I’m walking every step with him,” he said.

A Call to Action

Erickson encourages business leaders and community members alike to look for ways to empower the people around them. “Big ideas only matter if others can be part of them,” he reflected. “When people see that their effort matters, they don’t just show up—they show up with purpose.”

What You Can Do:

  • Listen actively to employees, colleagues, or family members—ideas often come from unexpected places.

  • Create pathways for growth—whether it’s offering mentorship, promoting from within, or recognizing effort.

  • Share the success—look for ways to tie group wins to individual contributions, big or small.

  • Be present—at work, in your community, or with your family, show people you’re walking with them.
